Changelog
What’s new in booooookmarks.
Manage your subscription
- AddedA Billing tab in Settings where you can see your plan and renewal date and jump to Stripe to update your card, view invoices, or cancel — in one place, whatever state your subscription is in.
- FixedA failed payment now actually tells you about it: a banner appears with a one-tap “Update payment method”, and your account keeps Unfree through the retry window instead of silently dropping to Free.
Export your bookmarks
- AddedExport every bookmark as a single plain-text file from Settings → Import & Export. It uses the open bookmarks.txt format — one bookmark per line, with title, folder, notes, and date — so it's readable, greppable, and lock-in free.
2.2.1 — duplicate feedback & clipboard fixes
- FixedSaving a link you already have no longer fails silently — you get an “Already saved in <folder>” message with one-tap actions to jump straight to the existing bookmark or move it into the folder you were adding to.
- FixedAdding a link from your clipboard via the ⌘K palette works again across Chrome, Firefox, and Safari — and stays fully keyboard-driven: ⌘K, then Enter.
2.2 — Recent, sidebar settings, calmer dark mode
- AddedRecent: a top-level view of bookmarks you've added in the last 12 hours. Hide it from the sidebar in Settings → Sidebar if you'd rather not see it.
- AddedDrag-to-reorder for pinned folders, in a new Settings → Sidebar tab.
- ChangedDark mode is calmer — softer, near-neutral grays without the purple cast and with less aggressive contrast.
2.1 — notifications
- AddedNotifications: a bell in the nav that badges when folders you follow get new links, plus a Notifications page listing what's new.
- FixedFollowed-folder cards no longer show a misleading “0 links” count — they show the owner and an “Updated” marker instead.
- ChangedOn large monitors, bookmark and folder grids add columns instead of stretching cards to an awkward size.
- ChangedBookmark thumbnails now use a wide 16:9 frame with barely-rounded corners, so previews show more of the page and most link images fill the card edge-to-edge.
2.0 — an all-new look
